About 10 days ago, I came across an interesting app and Safari Plugin called "Egale", which is a software that you can use to capture images on the web that inspire you as an artist. As a budding motion designer, I've been learning how to create and structure a good workflow for myself and I must say Eagle is such a useful tool! In the past I would take screenshots using the Mac keyboard controls and it's not been as efficient as it could be for me. I just take a screenshot of an image, I then hunt for it where ever it is on my computer or hard drive, crop it, then save it again. I don't know about you, but that's a little too much for my own convenience, which is why I've been so thankful I've discovered Eagle! Ever since then, I've been heavily using it in my new workflow and it makes it so much easier. Whenever I see an image that tickles my brain as a creative, I simply click on it to see the full image, then I alt+Click to bring up Eagle, and I can then save it to the app where I very easily find it! It saves me the whole trouble of the mac keyboard I described previously. I've been collecting some images to use for a brief personal project, which I'll share here. Stay tuned!
